Solid Waste Management Earth Day 5K Run/Walk
In celebration of Earth Day, the Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) invites you to attend its 1st in-person Earth Day 5K fun run or walk to benefit the United Way Miami.

About the Event
You will be able to complete your run or walk on TBA, at the 58th Street Landfill in Doral.
This is a unique opportunity to learn about the history of Miami-Dade’s landfills, the Resources Recovery Facility, DSWM, its partners, and the United Way Miami.

RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP OPENS AT 6:00 AM
Receive official race t-shirt, race bib number, and goodie bags (while supplies last)

- Self-supporting hydration (Reusable water bottle)

- There is no gear check, leave valuables at home.

Free parking on site
Main Parking Entrance: 6565 NW 97th Ave, Doral, Florida (Entrance on the right heading North)
COURSE & FINISH LINE
The course will be marked with cones, mile markers, and arrows. Please do not venture outside the marked areas. Challenge yourself with this unique course and come see who will be crowned the King and Queen of the Hill - Miami
AID STATION
You may carry your reusable water bottle. Water Station will also be available at approximately the half way point and the finish line.
