About the Race
The mission of the Upbeat Life 5k is to promote a happy, healthy, and Upbeat lifestyle, while creating a festive, fun-filled, and family-friendly atmosphere. The Upbeat Life 5K is much more than a race. Rather, we are a community focused event encouraging people to foster a healthy mind, body, and soul as they make their way to the finish line.
At this event, we will be donating 100% of our proceeds to Backpack Buddies Atlanta. With each step, we will work together to enhance the mental and physical health of students throughout the Metro-Atlanta area.
We hope you’ll join us as we walk, run, and dance our way to the finish line!
Your registration includes RFID Chip Timing, a race t-shirt, finisher medal & entrance to the post-race party!
We will have light snacks and various drinks available for you, both before and after the race. There will be 2 water stations located at mile 1 and mile 2 on the course.
We will have event medics on site as well as a course marshal patrolling the course to ensure the safety of all participants.
Children 17 & Under can register for the race at $20, this discount will be applied during check-out. We are also offering an Active Duty/Retired Military member and First Responder rate of $20, you just need to select that registration category.
Race Timing
Chip timing is being provided by Southern Timing, LLC. All participants will receive live results complete with an individual results page with your results breakdown, downloadable & sharable finisher certificates and a 20 second video of you crossing the start & finish line!

Awards
Awards will be given out to the following categories:
Top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers
Top 3 Male & Female in each age group:
10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over
There will be no double placing in the awards. If you place in the overall category you will be pulled from the masters and age group awards.
